Meet our Radiologists
Our radiologists are staff members of Third Eye Teleradiology and are highly trained specialists in Diagnostic Radiology. They are board certified by the American Board of Radiology and have additional training, either fellowship training in various areas of Diagnostic Radiology, or in subspecialties such as musculoskeletal, neurological, breast or nuclear imaging. Jeffrey D. Neitlich, M.D. is the former Chairman of the Department of Radiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, and completed his residency and fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Neitlich has authored numerous articles and abstracts and his research and reviews have been published in leading medical journals including the American Journal of Radiology. Previous to his current post, Dr. Neitlich served as Chief of Body Imaging and Director of the Radiology Education Program at Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Serge Djukic – American Board Certified in Radiology
Dr. Serge Djukic is a subspecialty radiologist, a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and holds a Certiﬁcate of Added Qualiﬁcation (CAQ) in Neuroradiology. Dr. Djukic completed his residency in radiology at the University of California San Diego, and went on to complete a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the esteemed Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Djukic also completed a research fellowship in Musculoskeletal MRI at the University of California San Francisco.
Dr. Djukic has several publications in peer reviewed journals, and has given many national scientiﬁc presentations. He is an expert in MRI, with particular interest in diseases of the spine.
Dr. Nyberg is an American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified diagnostic radiologist specializing in imaging of the brain, spine and structures of the head and neck. Dr. Nyberg received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and stayed to complete his Diagnostic Radiology residency at University Hospitals & Case Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Colorado, followed by additional training in interventional neuroradiology. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Society of Neuroradiology and the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery. He has been published in several peer reviewed journals including the American Journal of Radiology, the American Journal of Neuroradiology and the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery. Dr. Nyberg was recently awarded the Neuroradiology Subspecialty Certificate by the ABR.
Dr. Nyberg completed his undergraduate degree at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Outside of radiology he enjoys mountain biking, playing guitar, brazilian jiu-jitsu, and spending as much time as possible with his family.
